FUND: Community Fund

This is a program that brings together the people of Shizugawa and supporters through the art of leathercrafting. The people of Shizugawa create the products and Oasis Life Care markets and sells them. A portion of the proceeds go to the craftsmen/women. About once a week, the participants come together to fellowship and work on the leather crafts. This project aims to create an income source, purpose, and community for the people involved in order to revitalize a town devastated by the tsunami.

The office is located in Rifu, where there are volunteers to help package and ship the orders.
