|3.11 Memorial: Prayer Requests and Prayer Event|
Calling for an International "Wave" of Prayer for JapanWritten by Japan Evangelical Association
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
Thank you for your support and prayers for Japan and the JEA.
March 11th, 2011 will mark the one year anniversary of the huge quake that has so deeply affected our nation. In association with the World Evangelical Association, the disaster relief department of JEA invites churches of all denominations around the world to hold a special time of prayer for our nation. We would like to see an international chain of prayer that begins in the Land of the Rising Sun and ends in the West.

Prayer Event in Yodobashi
CRASH Japan is committed to partnership. We work closely with JEMA (Japan Evangelical Mission Association), the JEA (Japan Evangelical Association), and DRCnet (Disaster Relief Christian Network). Since the 3.11 disaster CRASH Japan has been serving survivors through local churches and local organizations. In addition to survivor care CRASH JAPAN has been supporting a monthly 3.11 inter-denominational prayer meeting for the recovery of Tohoku which was proposed by pastors and Christian organization leaders in the Tokyo area. Soon it will be one year since the disaster happened. In memorial of the disaster on March 11th, a special prayer meeting at Yodobashi church is planned with guest speakers Philip Yancy, and Rev. Akira Sato (pastor of the unusable Fukuoka First Baptist Church located right near the Dai Ichi power plant).
Please join us and pray with us for the recovery of Tohoku on March 11, 2012 4:30pm at:
