Disaster Volunteer Training (DVT)

You have got hands to help and a caring heart, but what can you really do...?
You can do more than you think!

CRASH Disaster Volunteer Training (DVT) gives you the information and skills you need to effectively minister the love of Christ in a disaster in Japan.  Whether it is an earthquake, typhoon, flood or other disaster, there is always a need for caring compassionate people to help put lives back together.

DVT equips you to be part of the national CRASH network of churches and missions that are cooperating in disaster relief, sharing information and resources.

DVT teaches how to safely and effectively lead a team of volunteers to work alongside Japanese local communities.

DVT introduces pastoral crisis intervention techniques for giving emotional and spiritual care to those who have suffered trauma.

CRASH Disaster Volunteer Training is a 1-day (4 hour) seminar available in English or Japanese for missions, churches and other Christian organizations.

Seminars can be adapted to fit group needs, and are available anywhere in Japan.

Contact CRASH to schedule a Disaster Volunteer Training seminar for your organization or find out when and where the next DVT will be held.

CRASH is endorsed by the
